Where would you recommend a fellow member to go to…
Eat:
E3 Chophouse. It is a quality steakhouse that serves all-natural beef, which comes straight from the family-owned E3 Ranch in Fort Scott, Kansas. The ranch is owned by the LaRoche family, who prides itself on raising hormone-, steroid- and antibiotic-free E3 black Angus cattle and is excited to bring its healthy beef to the locals and visitors of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Shop:
F.M. Light & Sons is Steamboat Springs’ historic clothing store and special place where customers enjoy a step back into the old west while browsing among many original fixtures from one hundred years ago.

Founded in 1905 by Francis Marion Light (who preferred to be called Frank), the store is still family owned and operated by the fifth generation. The year 2005 marked the 100th anniversary of the F.M. Light & Sons store – a store still in the family after five generations and built on a philosophy of providing quality merchandise and fair prices. Stepping into F.M. Light and Sons provides you with a true western experience.

Have fun/attractions:
Steamboat Ski Resort, located just outside of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, is a premier ski destination famous for its Champagne Powder. The resort is situated across seven mountain peaks within the Park Range and overlooks the Yampa Valley.

The area has a rich western heritage and is one of the largest ski resorts in Colorado. Steamboat Springs has been dubbed “Ski Town, U.S.A.” due to the fact that more Olympians call Steamboat home than any other ski resort.

What was your favorite…
